Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

You will be accountable for any damage or loss up to the insurance excess unless additional coverage is purchased. Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms remains your responsibility, irrespective of insurance.
Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies depend on the type of booking and the notice you provide. For precise information, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or failure to show up may incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited uses of the rental vehicle:
- The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activities, including racing, rallying, or off-roading. Transporting dangerous materials is prohibited, as is sub-letting to others or permitting unauthorized drivers. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Additionally, the vehicle should not be used for purposes it was not intended for, nor should passenger or weight limits be exceeded. Travel outside the designated geographical areas requires prior approval.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and fees.
8. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by the laws of Scotland, Car Hire Bishopbriggs will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the amount you paid for your rental in the previous 12 months.
